A BIT ABOUT ME

HEY IT'S ME, REMMI!

I’m an Arizona native with a B.A. in Graphic Design and Advertising, and while I’m grounded in the desert, I’m always daydreaming about living by the beach. My journey in design has been both dynamic and diverse—I’ve thrived as a freelance graphic designer, where I mastered flexibility and innovation, and I’ve also navigated the high-octane environment of a fast-paced agency, which pushed my skills and adaptability to new heights.

I PLAYED DIVISION 1

COLLEGE SOCCER

Outside of the design world, I played D1 college soccer, where I developed a strong sense of teamwork and determination. I started playing soccer at the age of 4 and continued to play for another 20 years. In high school I was nominated for AZ Central Player of the Year and continued my soccer journey into college. Playing at the college level was one of the most challenging but rewarding experiences.

I LOVE TO PAINT

AND HANDLETTER

I love hand lettering and painting. I started hand lettering years ago by watching YouTube tutorials and practicing extensively, which helped me develop my own style. I also enjoy painting occasionally to spark my creativity. At the start of 2023, I painted a beach-themed mural in my nephew’s bedroom. Now every time he enters his room, he's ready to ride some waves!

NEWPORT BEACH IS

MY 2ND HOME

For 22 years, my family and I vacationed at the same beach house, which became a beloved annual tradition. This beach house was a gathering place for friends, cousins, aunts, uncles, grandparents, and anyone else who wished to join us for a week by the shore. Started by my grandparents, this tradition sparked my enduring love for the beach, making every visit to Newport Beach feel like home.
